MEET SOME OF OUR 2008 SEASON CAST & PRODUCER

 

 

  • Taylor A. from West Seneca. Taylor began acting at the age of six, playing the role of Molly in the High School Production - "Annie". She has been singing since she could talk and dancing since she was three. Her greatest ambition has always been to act and hopes to continue pursuing it in the future. She would like to thank God, her family, her friends, and those who have supported and loved her throughout the years.
  • Nichole C. from Orchard Park. Nichole was involved in gymnastics for 6 years, where she received several awards. She is currently in her eighth year of dance and second year of voice and musical theatre. Her goals are to continue her performing arts education and share her God-given talent for many years to come. She thanks her family, church and friends for all the love and support they have given over the years.
  • Desmond M. from Buffalo. He has been taking acting classes for 3 years and performing for 4. Desmond received his first professional acting opportunity with Shea's Performing Arts Center in the production of "A Christmas Carol" with Jeff Conaway from Taxi, Takee' Harry from Sister, Sister and Berry Williams from The Brady Bunch. Desmond's passion and love for acting grew to new heights. His future goals are to become an A-list actor and an entrepreneur. He knows that with God, all things are possible.
  • *Ebony P. from Buffalo. Ebony is our amazing Acting Captain for the company. She started her professional career at age 15 and graduated with a Regents Diploma in theatre from the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. She graduates as a Theatre Major from Buffalo State College in May 2007. She has loved the performing arts and has been performing since the age of four. Ebony aspires to own her own Theatre Company. She gives many thanks to the Youth For Truth Performing Arts Company for their dedication and experience
  • Rachel R. from South Wales. Rachel has been taking ballet lessons for seven years and has been a member of the Holland Community Choir for the last four years. Her love for dance started at six. She would dance all over the house when her mother played music. Her goals are to continue taking dance instruction throughout her High School years. She aspires to be a featured dancer in future productions. Rachel wants to thank her family for their love and support
  • Melody S. from South Wales. Melody has been taking classical ballet instruction for 3 years, piano lessons for 5 and church theatrics since she was eight. Since then, she has choreographed, taught and performed in a variety of dances and dramas. In 2006, she performed with a Street Ministry called "Breakout". She used her dance talent on the streets of Buffalo to reach out to the community. Dance and drama have become her passions and she plans to go to college for further education. Melody wants to continue using her gifts to serve God.

 

 



PRODUCER
  • Dana LeBlanc Corvino is originally from the state of Michigan, but has lived in eight states throughout her young adult years. She now resides in Orchard Park with her huband Bob, her son Bobby (15), her daughter Nichi (13). Dana has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology from The Way College of Rome City, Indiana. She was licensed as a Minister with World Harvest Church in Columbus, Ohio on January 20, 2006. Her dream and ministry vision was to organize a youth performing arts company that would impact the teenage generation. Seven months after becoming licensed, Dana started the Youth for Truth Performing Arts Company. This company is her ministry "dream come truth". Dana's future plans are to become ordained and continue making a positive impact on the people she touches.
